Description
This Smith & Wesson Pre-Model 29 is a classic piece of American firearms history, produced in 1957 before the official "Model 29" designation began. Chambered in .44 Magnum with a six-shot fluted cylinder, this revolver is fitted with a pinned 6.5" barrel, adjustable rear sight, and an iconic red ramp front sight. The factory high-polish blued finish remains vivid, and the case-colored trigger and hammer show only minor wear, preserving the vintage craftsmanship that defines early S&W revolvers.
Adding to its character are stag-style grips with inset silver medallions, giving it a rugged yet elegant appearance. Tight lockup, crisp timing, and a shiny bore with strong rifling ensure this revolver is not just collectible—but still mechanically ready. It comes with a later-production blue velvet-lined wood display case for secure storage or display. A must-have for collectors and revolver aficionados alike.
